The Government have set each school targets for attendance! Last year our absence figure came to 4.0%. We now have to meet a target of 3.25% - this includes absence for illness, ballet and music exams, as well as for holidays. I trust that providing the dates for the next two academic years will enable you to book your holiday in school holiday time - especially helpful if you are tempted by all the adverts on TV following Christmas! At least 3 weeks notice should be given when requesting leave of absence using the form available from the school office.
